By signing this application, I hereby give Ricca Chemical the right to make a thorough investigation of my past employment, education and activities. I hereby release from all liability all persons, companies, schools and corporations supplying such information and I indemnify Ricca Chemical against any liability, which might result from making such investigation. I agree that Ricca Chemical may obtain a consumer report or other information regarding me. I certify that all answers given by me are true, accurate and complete, I understand that the falsification, misrepresentation or omission of fact on this application (or any other accompanying or required documents) will be cause for denial of employment or immediate termination of employment, regardless of when or how discovered.
Additionally, I understand that nothing contained in this employment application or in the granting of an interview is intended to create an employment contract between Ricca Chemical and myself for either employment or for the providing of any benefit. No promises regarding employment have been made to me and I understand that no such promise or guarantee is binding upon Ricca Chemical unless made in writing. If an employment relationship is established, I understand that I have the right to resign from my employment at any time and Ricca Chemical retains a right to terminate my employment, with or without notice. I understand that my employment with Ricca Chemical is “at will”.
Ricca Chemical is committed to being a drug free workplace, therefore all offers of employment are contingent upon submitting to and passing pre-employment drug screening. All applicants are requested to sign this application form acknowledging his or her authorization of the drug test and the release of the test results to the Company. Candidates who refuse to the sign or to undergo the drug screening will be denied employment. Any applicant who has a positive test result will be denied employment with the Company. Individuals who are denied employment because they have tested positive may reapply, upon demonstration that they are currently “drug-free”. Such a demonstration shall include, but is not limited to, satisfactory completion of another pre-employment drug test, which may be at the expense of the applicant by a certified laboratory approved by the Company. The Company’s willingness to accept a reapplication shall not imply acceptance by the Company of the employee for employment.
